Aaargh. Today's lesson: Never let Poser handle depth of field effects. This took about a week to render and still managed to do a poor attempt at out-of-focus rendering. Ah, well. The core effect of a self-aware Poser character stands, and I think I accidentally discovered a perfect "stoned student" facial expression.
